On the plus side, you get more power damage if you evolve it that way. You can mitigate this with rank 6, but you give up damage protection. Tech armor is great, but it slows down your recharge speed, which makes the kit slower. I really miss that differentiation in ME3. Mass Effect 3 threw a lot of lore details out the window, and really the shields/barrier issue is just a color - they donвЂ™t function any differently, unlike in ME1. I skipped tech armor (gasp and utter horror!) and cryo blast, and basically just threw, warped, and occasionally overloaded my way through life. ItвЂ™s funny you say that, because the first time I played a sentinel (way back before I understood how the game worked at all), I essentially played it like a biotic.
